Vann House Project

This project was built around a single, powerful idea: creating a seamless connection between home and garden. The addition of a contemporary single-storey rear extension, designed with precision and subtlety, features flush threshold seals that create an uninterrupted flow between indoor and outdoor spaces — perfectly balancing functionality with aesthetic harmony.

Maximising the roof height within the extension introduced light and volume in equal measure, elevating the sense of openness and reinforcing the connection to the surrounding landscape throughout the living area. The transformation also involved a significant internal redesign — relocating the kitchen from the front of the house to the rear, redefining the entire layout to better support how the family actually lives.

The result is an elegant, open-plan space that unites cooking, dining, and relaxation in a way that feels completely natural. A warm, functional environment where interior comfort meets exterior calm — a project that quietly sets the standard for what a well-considered house extension can achieve.
